At Synergy Equipment, we believe that you shouldn’t have to rely on luck when faced with a complicated and high-profile pump project. We work hard to provide all of our customers with the right information and products to get the job done right the first time. Here’s everything you need to know about how our fluid-transfer pump division takes things to the next level:
Recently, we had a client that needed to bypass the headworks at a Waste Water Treatment Plant, consisting of (4) 24” force mains with an average flow of 27 MGD (22,517 gallons per minute). Our client also needed to design a secondary grit collection system to keep the plant in operation for multiple months during construction. They knew they could trust Synergy.
The complexity of this project provided many design challenges. One of these challenges was that the suction point needed to be elevated inside of a building with limited access. Suction line air entrapment, syphon action, positive suction inlet pressure, and suction pipe stability are just some of the conditions that had to be addressed in designing a successful bypass system.
Synergy Equipment took our team of experts into our client's facility and we examined every detail of how we could get this job done correctly. Our team was able to integrate the fluid-transfer pump fleet into their building by strategically elevating the hoses from our pumps in a way that provided proper suction and drainage, while addressing the other issues as well.
No matter how difficult your project may be, Synergy Equipment’s Fluid-Transfer Pump Division works hard to ensure that every outcome is the desired outcome. We house one of the largest and newest portable pump rental fleets in the southeast and Michigan. Want to learn more about the Synergy Equipment Fluid-Transfer Pump Division? Check out our blog today!
